We present pySecDec, a new version of the program SecDec, which performs the factorisation of dimensionally regulated poles in parametric integrals, and the subsequent numerical evaluation of the finite coefficients. The algebraic part of the program is now written in the form of python modules, which allow a very flexible usage. The optimization of the C++ code, generated using FORM, is improved, leading to a faster numerical convergence. Read More

This Report summarizes the results of the activities of the LHC Higgs Cross Section Working Group in the period 2014-2016. The main goal of the working group was to present the state-of-the-art of Higgs physics at the LHC, integrating all new results that have appeared in the last few years. The first part compiles the most up-to-date predictions of Higgs boson production cross sections and decay branching ratios, parton distribution functions, and off-shell Higgs boson production and interference effects. We study the effects of the exact top-quark mass dependent two-loop corrections to Higgs boson pair production by gluon fusion at the LHC and at a 100 TeV hadron collider. We perform a detailed comparison of the full next-to-leading order result to various approximations at the level of differential distributions and also analyse non-standard Higgs self-coupling scenarios. We find that the different next-to-leading order approximations differ from the full result by up to 50 percent in relevant differential distributions. Read More

We present the calculation of the cross section and invariant mass distribution for Higgs boson pair production in gluon fusion at next-to-leading order (NLO) in QCD. Top-quark masses are fully taken into account throughout the calculation. The virtual two-loop amplitude has been generated using an extension of the program GoSam supplemented with an interface to Reduze for the integral reduction. Read More

We report on the development of tools to calculate loop integrals and amplitudes beyond one loop. In particular, we review new features of the program SecDec which can be used for the numerical evaluation of parametric integrals like multi-loop integrals. Read More

In this contribution we discuss new features of SecDec-3.0, a public program for the evaluation of dimensionally-regulated parametric integrals using sector decomposition. We will focus on two main aspects: the implementation of an improved geometric decomposition algorithm and the recently added support for complex masses. Read More

We present a method to numerically evaluate infrared-finite one- and two-loop integrals within the Four-Dimensional Regularization/Renormalization approach, in which a small mass serves as regulator. Typical integrals exhibit a logarithmic dependence on this mass, which we extract with the aid of suitable subtraction terms that can easily be integrated analytically until the logarithmic structure is revealed. As first physical applications to test the method, we calculate QCD corrections to the decay rates of scalar and pseudoscalar Higgs bosons into two photons in the limit of an infinite top-quark mass as well as to the $\rho$ parameter. SecDec is a program which can be used for the factorization of dimensionally regulated poles from parametric integrals, in particular multi-loop integrals, and the subsequent numerical evaluation of the finite coefficients. Here we present version 3.0 of the program, which has major improvements compared to version 2: it is faster, contains new decomposition strategies, an improved user interface and various other new features which extend the range of applicability. We study the effect of soft gluon emission on the total cross section predictions for the $gg\to HZ$ associated Higgs production process at the LHC. To this end, we perform resummation of threshold corrections at the NLL accuracy in the absolute threshold production limit and in the threshold limit for production of a $ZH$ system with a given invariant mass. Analytical results and numerical predictions for various possible LHC collision energies are presented. Read More

We present a calculation of all relevant contributions to associated production of a Higgs boson with a weak gauge boson in the 2-Higgs-Doublet Model (2HDM) at the LHC, $pp \rightarrow V\phi$, with $\phi\in\{h,H^0,A\}$ and $V\in\{W,Z\}$. While for the $W\phi$ mode, this mostly amounts to a simple rescaling of the Standard Model (SM) cross section, the $Z\phi$ cross section depends on several 2HDM parameters. The ratio $\sigma^{W\phi}/\sigma^{Z\phi}$, for which we present the currently most complete SM prediction, therefore appears to be a sensitive probe of possible New Physics effects. Read More

This Report summarizes the results of the activities in 2012 and the first half of 2013 of the LHC Higgs Cross Section Working Group. The main goal of the working group was to present the state of the art of Higgs Physics at the LHC, integrating all new results that have appeared in the last few years. This report follows the first working group report Handbook of LHC Higgs Cross Sections: 1. Read More

Gluon-induced contributions to the associated production of a Higgs and a Z-boson are calculated with NLO accuracy in QCD. They constitute a significant contribution to the cross section for this process. The perturbative correction factor (K-factor) is calculated in the limit of infinite top-quark and vanishing bottom-quark masses. Read More

A numerical program for the evaluation of the inclusive cross section for associated Higgs production with a massive weak gauge boson at hadron colliders is described, sigma(pp/pbar p -> HV), V=W,Z. The calculation is performed in the framework of the Standard Model and includes next-to-next-to-leading order QCD as well as next-to-leading order electro-weak effects. Read More

Novel contributions to the total inclusive cross section for Higgs-Strahlung in the Standard Model at hadron colliders are evaluated. Although formally of order $\alpha_s^2$, they have not been taken into account in previous NNLO predictions. The terms under consideration are induced by Higgs radiation off top-quark loops and thus proportional to the top-quark Yukawa coupling. Read More
